Recently I received a copy of the new Life Essentials Interactive Study Bible to review, which was recently released on March 15, 2020 by an amazing biblical scholar Dr. Gene A. Getz.
If you know me as the Bible nerd that I am, then you know I got real excited when I received it in the mail. Upon pulling it out of the box, it was very appealing to look at and very sturdy too with its hardbound cover.
Best of all, this Bible is full - I mean FULL - of life principles that can be found throughout God's word. There are 1500 principles to be exact, which are listed in this book along with Scripture. By all means, I believe this is the perfect addition to those devotional journals I know you all tucked away that you have been anxious to write in!
In the CSB Study Bible, Dr. Getz guides readers through Scripture by sharing wisdom nuggets which help readers remember and actually apply the Bible's truths to everyday life.

It is truly interactive just as the title suggests! The book integrates a multimedia digital system with more than 250 hours of in-depth video teachings from Dr. Getz. These video teachings are accessible by simply using your QR code reader on your cellphone (which I know many of you have) to scan the various codes within the CSB (like the one pictured here) to access helpful videos.

I have been looking for a good study bible because I am wanting to rekindle the fire and get closer to God. I know the way to do that is through His Word! Sometimes I have a hard time making connections throughout, and this bible looks like it would help me so much!
